Privacy Policy
Last updated 30 September 2026
- No account, no sign-in.
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party SDKs.
- Your recipes and packs stay on your devices and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud account.
- Photos you add never leave the device you added them on.
- The developer has no server and cannot see your recipes, photos or camera.
This policy covers the FujiKit app for iPhone, iPad and Mac (“the app”) and this website, https://fujikit.app. The app is made by Jura Skrlec (“I”, “me”). If you have a question about it, write to support@fujikit.app.
Data the app collects
None. The app does not send any information about you, your device, your camera or your use of the app to me or to anyone else. It contains no analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or tracking code, and does not use the advertising identifier. In the App Store’s privacy labels this is declared as Data Not Collected.
What is stored, and where
| What | Where it lives | Who can see it |
|---|---|---|
| Your recipes and packs, including names and notes | On your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, also in the app’s container in your private iCloud database, so they appear on your other devices. | Only you. Apple stores iCloud data under its own privacy policy; I have no access to it. |
| Photos you add, and the recipe read from each | In the app’s private storage on that one device. Never synced and never uploaded. | Only you. |
| Settings such as appearance and whether you have seen the welcome screen | On your device. | Only you. |
Deleting a recipe or pack in the app deletes it from iCloud as well. Deleting the app removes everything stored on that device. To remove iCloud data too, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage on iPhone or iPad, or System Settings → [your name] → iCloud on Mac, and delete FujiKit’s data. If you are not signed in to iCloud, recipes simply stay on the device.
Your camera
The app talks directly to your Fujifilm camera over a USB cable. It reads the camera’s model, firmware version and recipe settings so it can check that the camera is supported and read or write its custom slots. It can also list and copy the photos on the memory card when you ask it to. This information is used on the device only. The app does not read or store your camera’s serial number, and nothing about your camera is sent anywhere.
Permissions the app may ask for
The app asks only when it needs something, and works without any permission you decline.
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Photos | To read the recipe your Fujifilm camera records inside each photo, so you can browse your library in the app. Optional: you can instead add photos one at a time with the system picker, which needs no permission. |
| Camera / USB device access | To talk to your Fujifilm camera over the USB cable. The app never uses your iPhone’s, iPad’s or Mac’s own camera. |
You can change any of these at any time in Settings (iPhone and iPad) or System Settings → Privacy & Security (Mac).
Files you import and export
When you import an .FP1 or .json file, the app reads only the file you chose. When you export, the file goes only where you save or share it. Nothing is uploaded by the app.
Contacting support
If you email me, I receive your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to answer you. I do not add you to any list or share it with anyone. Ask me to delete our correspondence at any time.
This website
https://fujikit.app is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no forms. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Links to the App Store take you to Apple, under Apple’s privacy policy.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because I hold no personal data about users of the app, there is nothing for me to access, correct, export or delete - your data is on your devices and in your iCloud account, under your control. If you believe I hold data about you (for example, from a support email), you can ask for a copy or for its deletion at support@fujikit.app. Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR and California law, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date above. If a future version of the app ever collects data, this page will say exactly what and why before that version is released.
